Job Details
Reporting to the technical team lead you will work hands on applying our technology to customer problems. You will also frequently contribute to the development of our core machine learning technologies ensuring that learnings from the customer projects are embedded into our core technology. You are equally happy working with customer staff and leading academics.
Your background and skills
- A degree in physics, mathematics or computer science, or similar technical field
- Expertise in at least one of the leading machine learning toolkits (e.g. Tensorflow)
- Strong mathematical skills and deep understanding of the fundamentals of machine learning
- Ability to write high quality code
- Great communication skills with cultural awareness to work effectively in a global setting
- Willingness to share your knowledge and help others learn
- Experience in lab work and using complex lab instruments is a strong plus

At QuantrolOx we are building automated control software for quantum technologies to tune, stabilise and optimise qubits. Tuning is required to bring each qubit into an operational state, optimisation is required to improve their performance, and stabilisation is required to maintain performance in the presence of instabilities in the hardware.
