We are advertising a postdoctoral researcher position at the Science Institute at the University of Iceland with a focus on observational cosmology. The researcher will join the CMBeam project team funded through a grant from the European Research Council. This is a two-year position with the possibility of a one-year extension.

The research can have components from data analysis, instrumentation, and microwave measurement techniques. Ideally, these efforts will be conducted in the context of existing CMB experiments that group members are participating in, including but not limited to the Simons Observatory, the Taurus balloon-borne experiment, and the LiteBIRD satellite.

The postdoctoral researcher will join the CMBeam team (http://cmbeam.com/). The primary aim of CMBeam is to develop advanced algorithms, measurement systems, and methodologies that are critical to the design and calibration of next-generation telescopes used to study the cosmic microwave background (CMB).

Please direct any questions regarding the position to Jon E. Gudmundsson (jegudmunds@hi.is).
