We are currently seeking to fill a postdoctoral position at the University of Bonn, which is part of the DFG-funded Research Unit "Modern Foundations of Scattering Amplitudes". The Research Unit is a consortium consisting of the University of Bonn, the Humboldt-University Berlin, the University of Hertfordshire, the University of Mainz, the Technical University of Munich and the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich.
Successful candidates are expected to have a strong background in quantum field theory, conformal field theory and integrability, ideally connected to the modern theory of scattering amplitudes. They are expected to work on topics related to Feynman integrals and Yangian symmetries.
We aim to increase the proportion of women in areas where women are under-represented and to particularly promote their careers. We therefore urge women with relevant qualifications to apply. Applications from suitable individuals with a certified serious disability and those of equal status are particularly welcome.
Applicants are invited to send their CV and a brief letter of motivation with the subject line FOR-POSTDOC until 01.08.2024 as a single pdf file to zuendorf@physik.uni-bonn.de. They should also name three potential referees whom we may contact for a reference letter.
