PhD position in particle physics & data science

The Department of Physics at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) invites applications for PhD positions at the interface of particle physics, statistics and data science.

The successful candidates will work with A/Prof. Andrew Fowlie, and other faculty at XJTLU and at the University of Liverpool, in pioneering statistical methods in particle physics. The expected starting date would be around Autumn 2024. XJTLU is located in Suzhou, China, and is a joint venture between the University of Liverpool and Xi'an Jiaotong University. Our degrees are awarded jointly by the University of Liverpool.
