The Research Training Group (RTG) is an DFG-funded doctoral program offered jointly by the groups working on Theoretical Particle Physics, Gauge/Gravity Duality, and Experimental Particle Physics at the University of Würzburg. We are seeking a candidate working within the areas outlined at

We look in particular for a candidate working at the interface between theory and experiment. Interest in theoretical and applied aspects of machine learning is of advantage.

We offer a temporary employment (TV-L E13, 100%) funded by the German Science Foundation for a period of up to five years, starting at the earliest on 1 January 2025. The successful candidate will be given the possibility to build up their own research group and to obtain a ?Habilitation? as qualification for their future career.
