The Experimental Particle & Astroparticle Physics (EPAP) group is a vibrant, international research team addressing some of the major open questions in our understanding of matter through the study of the nature of fundamental particles.

This is achieved by designing and conducting experiments and methods that can probe the properties of fundamental particles in new and sophisticated ways.

The group members are part of several experiments in neutrino and dark matter (T2K, Super-Kamiokande, Hyper-Kamiokande, SNO+, Icecube, LZ) currently taking data or being constructed and planned experiments (XLZD, and intend to join LEGEND).

More information about the group can be found in

and https://epap.nms.kcl.ac.uk/

We encourage applicants with project ideas that expand and complement our current research, including areas of gravitational waves.

Our group is committed to diversity and especially welcomes applications from female and minority ethnic candidates and other under-represented groups in physics.

We invite interested candidates to contact us and express interest by sending an abridged research proposal and an abridged CV. Each should be a maximum length of 2 pages.

Both the proposal and CV should be written considering the assessment criteria of the fellowships written in the corresponding calls.

The documents should be sent to EPAP_Applications@kcl.ac.uk before June 21th.

If you would like more details about the group, please contact Prof. Francesca Di Lodovico. We advise potential candidates to check the eligibility criteria for the calls carefully.

We expect to make a decision on the candidates we can support by the end of June 2024.
