The Experimental Particle Physics group at UCAS (University of Chinese Academy of Sciences) invites talented and highly qualified candidates to apply for the postdoc position at UCAS.

The LHCb experiment started the Run 3 commissioning and data taking since 2022 and will collect about 14 fb-1 new data until 2025. There are lots of interesting topics to explore with the new data. The successful candidates are expected to

  • work on CPV measurements, exotic-state searches or other interested physics topics at LHCb;
  • contribute partially to the software development or/and the R&D of the future upgradeII of the LHCb experiment
  • help to supervise masters or/and PhD students

The successful candidate will be based at UCAS, Beijing, with frequent travel to CERN. The annual gross salary is between 300K - 400K CNY depending on experience. She/He will have an additional allowance of about 2,000 CHF per month when staying at CERN. The term of initial appointment is one year with the possibility of reappointment to a maximum of three years.
